Walthamstow Wetlands Walk

Walthamstow Wetlands
Wednesday 5th May, 2021 - 11:00 to 12:00

About this event

Join Lena for another weekly walk!

This week we will be exploring the beautiful and tranquil Walthamstow Wetlands. Situated in the Lee Valley and comprised of ten reservoirs, the Wetlands are known for being Europe's largest urban wetland reserve.

Alongside varied wildlife, the Wetlands is home to many reedbeds, grassland and hedgerows, all of which we will be observing on the walk. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water for hydration. There will also be the opportunity to get refreshments at the Cafe, and use the toilet facilities.

For more information on where we will be meeting and to register your interest, please get in touch using the contact details below.
